Hello! Thanks for stopping by. We’re Kari and Ronit: writers, actors, and creators who write female-driven buddy comedies with Asian and Jewish leads… like us! With 15 years of writing experience, and seven years together, we specialize in strong characters, punchy dialogue, and clear storytelling. Speaking of “yes and,” we met at the Upright Citizens Brigade, where we studied advanced improv and sketch, and decided to write together after watching each other perform original pieces. Kari studied at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy and received her BFA from The New School. Ronit is a graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts.

After years of one of us either being pregnant, giving birth or being a human cow for tiny dictators, all our kids are in fucking preschool and we can finally write in (relative) peace.
